Every comic book I do seems to require that I come up with a new world with it’s own physics. Also, I get to be a casting director for the characters. I figure out the settings, the lighting, the shots, and I’m also designing new characters. Creating a comic book requires so much but it doesn’t pay you enough or give you the time it would take to develop a world that you can walk in all directions within it. It’s as complex as you want to make it. I think this is where my brain gets the idea that I didn’t do a good job. Of course if I thought about this or that for a good month or two I would more satisfied that I made something well. I’ll miss details when I rush but I rarely get the time to dally on detail.
I put more time in to developing the Toxic Avenger world than I had time for some of my other comics. I’m really looking forward to getting immersed in it.
Have a great week!
