I like to draw. I really like to paint. I’m sharing a painting in progress that I hope to finish by October for a show at Manhattan Classic Car Club. Here is the natural drama of making something with a deadline in mind and you will get to see me succeed or fail in real time. I will probably have some weirdish photos from the next week. My GF’s birthday is my annual event and coincidentally hers as well. It is next week and usually there is a bunch of extra drama involved. We’ll see how this all goes.

This is the acrylic under-painting I started over a year ago. Now I want to change everything because I’m over a year older.

This week I’m writing jokes for a potential standup open mic I want to do. I have a big old job that might obliterate all plans if it comes through, and then there’s the usual goofy things that rip me away from my planned schedule as well. Enjoy art and as always, most art I display is for sale😜

The editing process has begun. I have been brainstorming new things I want to add and subtract. Conversations with the GF about the direction I want to take it and the only thing I really like at this point is the figure!

My birthday present to Molly. A rag faux finish on the hallway walls of our apartment. The other side gets done next week.

This or painting clouds is the most relaxing art activity I know.
